At HWLTC, we are very lucky to have two fully qualified LTA coaches who teach all age groups at all standards. Darren Plank (Head coach) and Tom Daley (coach) offer a full programme for juniors, junior holiday camps, group sessions for adults and individual coaching for Club members.
?Our coaches also assist with the Club's teams, and organise fun, internal tournaments for members throughout the year.
As members of HWLTC for many years, Darren plays a central and active part in our community, assisting the Club's committee (volunteers) with the day-to-day running of the Club.
"I have played at Junior County Level, and also in the Men's Premier Division for Hazelwood and Oakley Park. My strength is coaching kids who take their tennis seriously, but I also enjoy seeing the progression of beginners, whether it's adult or junior, and also kids who play tennis for the social aspect."
